Dear Business Owner:

Pasted Graphic 3
Running to Places Theatre Company (R2P) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the production of quality theatre with the participation of area middle and high school students who perform, design, stage manage and tech fully staged productions under the mentorship of local theatre professionals. By including students from around and beyond Tompkins County, R2P has instilled this group of young people with an increased sense of their larger community. As a business owner we believe you already understand the importance of strong community ties.

We estimate that around 250 area youth will participate in our 2011 season and our audiences will total over 7,000 patrons between January and September 2011. The families involved in R2P represent all of Tompkins County and portions of Tioga, Seneca and Cortland counties. All our 2011 shows will be held at The State Theatre or Hangar Theatre in Ithaca, giving us a chance to expand into their audience base as well. By placing an ad in our programs, you will not only remind a large group of people of your business but send a strong signal that you are dedicated to encouraging the gifts and talents of local youth. And your advertising dollars will help keep participation free of mandatory fees for the young people involved!

Our playbills are professionally produced books with full color front and back covers. (A recent example is seen at left.) The artwork for each program is created for us by Kendra Wells, a talented artist and R2P alum currently majoring in Art in NYC.
