Participation in R2P does not require the writing of a check by company members' families. There are many ways to cover the costs of creating a season of professionally produced shows – but without everyone contributing to the effort it wouldn't be possible.

It will cost us approximately $1470 per participant per show to produce the 2012 Season. We reduce that cost for participants through ticket sales, grants, sponsorships, and at-large donations, but that still leaves a gap of $550 per participant per show. We are relying on $32,000 in company-wide fundraising this season, and have therefore reduced the "family obligation" to $400 per participant per show. 
 
Thank you to everyone who contributes to these fundraisers and directly reduce the costs we need to pass along to the families involved.

Announcing the
R2P 2012 Online Goods and Services Auction Fundraiser!

Last year we held our first-ever R2P Fundraising Auction. It did well, but didn’t meet budget goals, we know you are busy, and we wanted to make it easier for non-R2P family and/or out-of-town dollars to support the event – so we’re making it even easier this year!

Announcing our Online Goods and Services Auction Fundraiser for Running to Places! Company members, their families and friends, local businesses – anyone! – will donate goods and services, and we’ll auction them off on a professionally produced and managed site to raise funds for R2P: www.32auctions.com. It’s like having our own private eBay! All the familiar features of an online auction are there: free, and easy registration for bidders, Buy It Now options, photos of items, fast and exciting bidding!

All proceeds cover already-awarded reductions in the cost of participation to all R2P Company Members this season! Here’s what we need from you:
