A friend in the English department at Ithaca College has asked for some help:
"Looking for a boy between the ages of 12 and 14 to play a non-speaking role in a staged reading of John Webster's play, "The Duchess of Malfi." This will involve at most one rehearsal (on Wednesday, November 14th, from about 7-10 or 10:30 p.m.) and one performance of the reading, on Thursday, November 15th, at 6:30 p.m. (In a pinch, we could do without the one rehearsal and just go over the boy's appearances in the hour before the reading on the 15th.) The part is a young son of the Duchess; he appears three times in the reading, and does not speak. Though the role is a small one, it will provide a young actor with the opportunity to work with Ithaca College theatre majors and faculty members, who will make up the rest of the cast.
