July 13-15 @ The State Theatre of Ithaca

This beloved musical was the first collaboration by Rodgers and Hammerstein.  Set at the turn of the 20th century this simple tale of cowhands and farmers finding love and community in the Oklahoma territory catches the imagination and patriotic passion of America.  It tells the story of a handsome cowboy and his romance with a headstrong farm girl.  Love, laughs, and songs we all know and cherish.  The State Theatre of Ithaca, July 13-15, Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm, Sunday at 2:00 pm.  $12 advanced tickets/ $15 at the door. Urinetown
August 17-19 @ The State Theatre of Ithaca

This is a hilarious tale of greed, corruption, love and revolution in a time when water is worth its weight in gold.  What would you do if you had to pay a monstrous corporation every time you needed to – ahem – use the facilities? Be careful or you’ll get sent to Urinetown! One of the most uproariously funny and brilliant satires in recent musical theatre history.  The State Theatre of Ithaca, August 17-19, Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm, Sunday at 2:00 pm.  $12 advanced tickets/ $15 at the door. For tickets: Visit: 105 West State St., Ithaca, Call: 607-277-8283, Click: www.stateofithaca.com.
