  • Here is where you will find the key info about what’s happening. You will see the general schedule blocked off, listed generically as “Seussical Rehearsal.” As we go along, we will be replacing those blocks with the detailed schedule showing all of the “who-what-where-when” info.

We will write what time the block is, what is being covered, and who is called for that block

We might sometimes say: FULL CAST (minus _____) – with the name of the cast member(s) NOT called in that block in place of the blank.

When it is not a FULL CAST block, we will list each cast member's name in alphabetical order. For example: “1:00 PM to 2:15 PM: Act 1, Scene 1 with Joey: ALBUS, BERNICE, CARLTON” Those would be the only people who need to attend that particular block.

If the block is not listed as FULL CAST and your name is not listed, you DO NOT need to attend that block.

If the block says "FULL CAST" – yup, that means you. ;)

NOTE: On Sundays, sometimes folks will be here over the dinner break (usually from 5:00-5:45pm). No one may leave the building for dinner break without parental permission. Anyone who leaves must be with a buddy and sign out listing a specific destination and a phone number to be reached at. The group that leaves together must also return together – no one gets left behind. please discuss with your family your dinner plan ahead of time.

A few more things about dinner break:

It's BYO - we don't provide meals or snacks, so please plan accordingly. There is a fridge and microwave at the JBCC. Families are welcome to pickup their cast members for dinner, but that's not required at all. You don't need to sign out if a parent/legal guardian is with you. Pete's is just across the street (burgers and snacks) and a new pizza place just opened next door which looks fabulous! Shortstop and the Commons are just a few blocks away, but there are several intersections to navigate along the way. Discuss among your family your level of comfort with crossing streets, etc. without adult chaperones.

REHEARSAL VIDEOS:

Please remember that these clips are for cast members to review between rehearsals. They are NOT for posting, sharing, or any other public consumption.

COVID PROTOCOLS:

Because, like it or not, this thing ain't over yet, we wanted to make clear how we're handling health and safety protocols regarding COVID:

MASKS:
Because of the vigorous nature of our work (singing with gusto!), we will be requiring masks when rehearsing indoors. This will include breaks, including snacking. There is ample room at the Just Be Cause Center to spread out for meals. The back patio is also available for eating and socializing maskless, weather permitting.

PERFORMANCES:
Our plan is to perform the show without masks. We will continue to mask through the week of the show until final dress rehearsal. At that point, people will need to show a daily negative at-home test result.

We'll be paying attention to developments throughout the process, and will make adjustments as the situation warrants. We're certainly hoping that things will only continue to improve.
